On the 4th of July in Chicago, Christina Overbeck was joined on a recovery run by her dad John, who tried to keep up on rollerblades. Producer Wendy Shulik strapped on her own pair of blades and attempted to simultaneously film and conduct an interview while trying not to crash.

A recent graduate of Calvin College where she majored in Engineering, Christina earned All-American honors in both the cross-country and 10K Nationals. She ran 2:54:35 in her marathon debut at the 2009 Chicago Marathon and hopes to qualify for the 2012 U.S. Olympic Marathon Team Trials in Chicago this October 10th.
